💻 What does a Networking Software Engineer do?
As a Networking Software Engineer, you will:
- work directly with our CTO and technical CEO
- help design and build key parts of the Costa platform
- help drive strategic initiatives and make fundamental architectural decisions
Ultimately, you will help us create a world where it is easy to share information with good actors and easy to protect it from bad ones.

💎 What experience is relevant?
Here is some experience that may help you succeed in this role:
- 8+ years of software development experience
- A thorough understanding of L4 & L7 networking
- Experience with linux networking toolset: netfilter, iptables/nftables, eBPF, tc, tcpdump / pcap
- Experience shipping distributed systems
- Experience building tool libraries, REST APIs, gRPC
- Proficient in Ruby and Go
- Familiarity with “cloud” networking and concepts like VPC, Security Groups, NATs, VPC endpoints
